Tomáš Kučera, is a Prague-based designer and glass artist. He was born in Světlá nad Sázavou, well-known as the glassmaking center. Absolvent of Academy of Arts Architecture and Design in Prague – Glass Studio. He was studying at Scholastika College and High School of Graphic Design and Art in Jihlava. His work encompasses a wide range of small collections of collectible design pieces, most of which are made of kiln-cast glass. Kučera often works with various processes, ritual principles aimed at powerful awareness or the theme of redundancy.
